What Job/Career?
#1
I see theres a thread for scooby owners age, thought a scooby owners job/career would be a good idea. by the looks of things IT is the most common.
I would start the ball rolling but i dont own a scooby (yet) but IT will definately be my career in the future. Aiming at IT network admin or something similar.
So what do you do..........

ace2002,
A lot of people are very concern about the IT job market. Some say the bottom has fallen out. There are a lot of 'long termers' that have worked in IT for ears are leaving to do other jobs. The police force being the most common jump.
I've only worked in IT for about 6 years since I left school and I enjoy it.
There are a few tradesmen on Scoobynet. How do you feel about being a Plumber, Builder etc. very handy for home renovations
Darren

On the subject of IT I think that the industry is just settling down like any other as it is still relatively young compared to e.g. engineering. IMHO a lot of the complaints I hear about IT are from people who've had it too easy in the industry for too long especially contractors. Finally now we are sorting out those that have a talent for it, keep their skills up to date and don't think it should always be an easy ride from those that don't.
The other thing that gets me on here is the way people moan about how little they get paid for certain jobs (even though they knew that before they started - doh!). Then you see another thread where they are asking how to get the latest mod for their STI8 PPP - if they can afford one of these they can't be doing too badly ca they now.
tiggers.
