Yup - LOL
A warrant has been issued for the arrest of former Formula One driver Eddie Irvine, after he was caught speeding on a scooter with no licence and no insurance, court officials have revealed.
The 38-year-old was arrested by police in London on July 24 this year for driving at over 30mph on a scooter through the city's Hyde Park, with no scooter licence and no insurance.

I hope he manages to dodge it- I have a lot of respect for Eddie.
Let them try to extradite him over a motoring offence- tossers.

but if he then crashed into your car, would you be as sympathetic?
Why should he be above the law (silly as it may be at times)

He isn't a warrant has been issued for him- I hope he manages to evade it, there is sod all going for the UK anyway, apart from relatives/friends I could happily live without ever returning.
I hope he dodges it as I said before.

Also please bear in mind he was in Hyde park, not the North Circular at rush hour. I too hope he gets away with it or gets sentenced to return to F1 as the sport was better off when he was driving - ata least he has some character.

Maybe he'll just get community service - he could end up sound checking at Bedford Autodrome
P.s. the road through Hyde Park is far busier than the North Circular since congestion charges where brough in

They'd do society more favours for arresting him for the hosting of that "Extreme....Jobs" on channel 5 last night!
Great guy but rather monotone for an hour show.

Jason,
Just for you mate - I blame the government
Glad it's not just me that thinks like this - according to some on Scoobynet everything is personally Tony Blair's fault - makes you laugh really.

No for me the glass is completely empty- I had enough of being b*ttf*cked by the tax man, paying over the odds for crap properties surrounded by thieving drongos/morons, parking fines (well the threat of them as I've never had one), the British attitude of sneering at success and hating a winner, the education system, the crap weather, bad food, overpriced alcohol, double standards, the class system and some other stuff I can't think of at the moment.
Good on Irvine- I hope he stays living the life of Riley on his yacht and leaves the corpse of the UK to rot in it's maggot infested grave.

DrJp he probably had better things to worry about......once you get out of the small minded UK where people worry endlessly about crappy red tape and whats "right" you find that you take life as it comes and not worry about whether you are insured to drive some crappy little 'ped. He'll pay the price for his "crime" when and if he returns in the meantime I imagine he's laughing at the UK's legal system while he sits in his yacht with a supermodel on his d*ck (to paraphrase someone else) .
I like him- he's nobodies fool except his own.
