DVD player recommendations?
#1
I'm thinking of buying the g/f a DVD player for Christmas. Which models are worth looking at? I'm not looking to spend hundreds, but won't be buying £40 worth of tat from the supermarket either.
Naturally the player should be multiregion. It would be nice if it played MP3 discs. The ability to play back DivX etc would be a bonus, but it's not a core requirement.
Suggestions, please?

I'd go for one of the 5 star DVD players as recommended by What HiFi, you can get a Toshiba or Pioneer player (multiregion) for about 70-80 squid from Richer Sounds. I got a slightly earlier version of the Toshiba a while back and the picture and sound quality are great - Much better than on the PS2.
