Woke up this morning with a runny nose and a thick head and aching all over.

Must be flu?

Time to get my medicine cabinet working - I've got v good constitution and if I eat a satsuma and a cuppa, it normally goes after 20 mins. Does that sound like flu or something more serious?

You must have caught that strain off the people who work in my office!

I'd say you need to get signed off work for the next 6 months!

Better get to the dr's and get a sick note.

Oooh - will I be able to make it there? It is uphill so I could always run there - exercise normally helps flu apparently.

I wouldn't know about exercise helping flu or not as I've never had it. Copious amounts of alcohol always seem to have kept it at bay for me. I once thought I had chicken pox but it was just a severe acne outbreak, and as for AIDS, I hope I don't get that again!
