Interested in pay as you go contract where you just get billed for the calls you have made at the end of the month but no monthly contract - ie if you dont use your phone you dont get billed that month. This for me is a better option than my current £8 a month contract plus calls as I receive more than I make and do more texting to the other half more than anything else.
Have been in carphone warehouse and they have two options, one is virgin mobile and the other is fresh who i have never heard of.
I am interested in a new phone as well but only if its not gonna cost stupid amounts of money (less than £100). Currently have a Nokia 6310 and fed up with Nokia's screen and battery problems I have had with every Nokia I have ever had.
Apart from what carphone warehouse have told me I wanted to ask scoobynetters where they look for the best phone deals and what they think is currently the best deal about.
TIA

I have an Orange tariff - well its Virgin actually, the tariff part anyhow .. although its on the Orange network, hope it makes sense?
Well, it has no monthly fee at all, voicemails are free, calls are cheap and its a good area coverage .......... I get a bill each month which amounts to about 85p - they let me settle up every 6 months when it passes £5! Incredible but true!!
I also have a PAYG for my pocket, £10 voucher lasts me a year!
