i personally have a haupauge(sp?) one that can connect to a pc or a tv. it is tiny compared to a dedicated tv one.

Just found out there could be a problem. We have one arial for the block using a amp (Well set up) bit of ghosying due to tree been within 3 feet of the bloody arial!!!
many of the digi boxes mention about problems when used on a shared arial....
