So, it's that time of year once again when the senior tennis tour comes to town. So much more entertaining watching the old masters compared to the modern game.
PMSL at John McEnroe. Still as competative and volatile as ever at 44 years of age.

That man is a bloody genius, unclebuck. Met him twice, and have read various books about him. Dispels the myth surrounding tennis players and hours of daily practice. the fact is he is one of the most talented and competitive sportsmen ever and he hardly ever trained whatsoever!!
The LTA should appoint him Davis Cup captain, tho i cant see that ever happening

Agree with the above. Sat in front row of the old Court no 1 at Wimbers and watched him take David Wheaton apart. He was giving him at least 8 years, 8 inches in height and a couple of stones in weight, yet just blew him away. The man is a GOD!.

Well, he took Michael Stich apart in just 2 sets. Again, 9 years younger and a lot taller. He was awesome. So now he's in the final tomorrow (not sure who against but does it matter?)
