Just either had my wallet stolen or i may have dropped it, tried to cancel cards first call HSBC absolutely fanatastic card cancelled and even put me through to RBS for next card RBS were also very good even though i don't have a card with them ooops apparently they make cards for other banks in this case Capital.
Royal Bank of Scotland guy puts me through to this number to which i get i'm sorry our offices are currently closed, i go check a statment which is exactly the same number that the RBS guy gave me
How the hell can you report a stolen card if they shut

It's with things like that, you realise who the good banks are and who aren't. I've had good experience with HSBC too, a few months back, someone had "cloned" my card and tried to go on a spending spree. HSBC declined their first attempt, cancelled the card at their second, and phoned me to tell me: result the thieving scum didn't get to spend any money at all.

All my cards are protected for an anual fee of about £20.
If I lose them, one phone call gets them cancelled, and replacements sorted. Also, if I do lose any money over it, the card protection people refund it. They also protect my keys for the same fee; lose them all: locks replaced etc, and my key-rings have fobs attached offering a reward to anyone who returns them to the card protection company.
