Thumbs up

My car's been using a bit of oil since a recent change so I rang the service dept to ask what I should use for top up. Apparently I should have got a 2 litre topup pack with every oil change so have been asked to pop in to pick one up.

Shell Helix Semi is about £8 a litre so I've saved £16. Woo hoo !! (should get out more)

Is it normal for a car dealership to be giving things away for free or am I just being a cynical barsteward ?

Well, you've probably already paid for it when you got it serviced and they forgot to put the can in the boot.

Hmmm, £60 for a new filter and oil. £5 for the filter, £18 for the labour, £2 for filling the washer bottle and £35 for the oil (usually £20 in Halfords).

Yup I've already paid for it

Just surprised that they didn't want to charge me another £15.
