By the Police??
I was just watching a motorbike get chased by Police on the TV and it took me way back to my youth - when I was chased a few times
I was young and reckless then!!
I assume I am now in the clear as they never caught me - lights off, foot down, and the chase was on!! Didn't have helicopters up in those days and the vehicles were mine and legal (kind of!)
I remember once, when I was 17, giving a girl a lift home on my motorbike after a party (I was on a promise, if you get my drift!) - picture the scene, 17 year old - provisional licence - over the drink/drive limit - pillion passenger (with L plates up!) - I had no helmet on (girl had that!) - narrow bridge, with traffic light control .... lights on RED, I bump up on the FOOTPATH and whizz through the lights at quite a speed ........ what was sitting on the other side ofthe bridge?? YES!! Nick, Nick!!
What was I supposed to do? Surrender? luckily the police car had to turn to start the pursuit - gave me about 50 yards head start, good god was I scared stiff ............ they didn't get me though!!
Then there was the time when, in a car this time, ....... nah - I'll leave that one till another time!

I was chased tonight, I was out of my face on booze and uninsured on my '03 Sti which has no tax.
The 5-0 had no chance.
You should have seen the donuts I did round them, They didn't have a clue what was going on.
Oh and by the way if 5-0 are reading this my plate is FR53 SEX

I wasnt really chased but I remember riding my RD125LC one night with no rear light - cop car passes me going in the other direction and I see its brake lights and blues go on in my RH mirror so I kick it down a couple of gears and lose the fuzz - heart pounding stuff. But hey that was 13 years ago now and I certainly wouldnt do it in the car - might do on the bike in a similar scenario though

Only been chased once by police, I was pushing my MX bike up to the woods, just about to enter the woods and a plod car comes up the road and stops behind me, copper jumps out shouting and runninmg after me as I dissapear down a slight hill trying to bump start my DT 175, copper is gaining bike not starting copper is virtually on me bike starts I jump on give it a hand full shower copper in dirt and mud and disappear of down the track. Never saw the copper again

NO he friggin well DIDN'T!! Ha Ha Ha!
We ended up whizzing into an open garage - stupid as it may sound! - we stood there (after closing the door!) for what seemed like ages listening to the cop car pass and repass about 5 times
Imagine what would have happened if the owner had arrived back, opened the door and found a young couple stood there with a motorbike ..... imagine if the coppas passed at that point too!
THEN, go one step further and imagine me giving her a little present as well!! Doesn't even bare thinking about!! So, no, I didn't!

we used to get chased by the police quite a bit when we were kids for playing football in the school, van would turn up we'd stick our fingers up at them and off we would run it was a shame that 2 out the 3 of us were sprinters never did get court
