Question

Hi,

Can anyone answer the following please?

I have two mobiles, my own personal Nokia 8310 on O2, and a works mobile on Orange which is a 3510i.

Can I just swop the sim cards over so I can use my 8310 for work? Or is life not that simple....obviously before I have to lose all numbers on my phones experimenting it dawned on me that someone out there must be able to answer this one.

Thanks in advance!

The phones are more than likely locked to their networks, but it is possible to get the service provider locks removed without too much trouble.

Flippin heck that's what I call a quick response!

My next question is how do i do that and will it cause problems with my work phone when I want to upgrade it?

Thanks again!

I have had some of my phones unlocked by mobile phone stores locally, it caused no hassle when I came to upgrade my phone.

Ian,

Thanks very much indeed for the information!

I shall make some enquiries locally and find someone to do it for me.

Thanks again!

I don't think O2 phones are usually locked ( both of mine aren't), so the orange sim should work fine in the 8310.

John.
