Tamiya cars are probably your best bet as most model shops stock them and carry the spares/upgrades, lots of good deals going about the now for a complete set-up, try DMS-racing.com <i think> modelsport/apex models sorry can't remember the web addys, or look in yellow pages and find your local shop that way if you have a problem you can just go and see them.

I got a RC bugeye last year, excellent big boys toy!
The kid down the road from my old house used to drive his RC up and down the road too..... I had great fun taking control with my remote from the bedroom window cruel I know, but I diddnt do it all the time
