Just watched the above program on Satelite TV in Malaysia on Sunday night. This segment featured the Bentley Coupe, Legacy Outback and Saab (the car vs the plane). Is this the live program (i.e. same as the one you guys see in UK) or a stale recorded one they syndicate overseas?

Ha, it was supposed to be part of the BBC World News program, they can't sell 3 weeks old stuff as news! Even the CAR magazine gets airflown out here in less time than that.

At least 3 weeks old is better than nothing at all.
When in Germany last Jan/Feb, I had BBC World in the hotel room, and was grateful for ANY Top Gear, EVEN if I had seen it before.....
Better than watching German "Search for a Superstar" - the German version of Plop Idol.

I watch Top Gear on BBC World as well and the best thing is it is repeated 5 times during the week so there is normally one time I can fit it in.
BBC World actually has adverts every 15mins so they have to editi slightly to fit it in to the slot. Last week, they dropped the feature about getting out of a submerged car...
When the showed the first season, they almost always dropped the bits done by the f@t bloke (I wonder why?). In fact we were about 6 episodes into the series before he got a look-in but he was always there at the final credits waving along with JC and the short bloke.
