career help???
#1
i know this isnt your typical thread but i need help, i am currently a shop assistant earning £500 per month approx, i am doing this as a stop gap between college and deciding on a career, unfortunitly in jan this year i was diagnosed as having a cancerous tumour in my knee, since then i have had a full titanium knee replacement (may 03) and have since had 6 months of chemotherepy. i then found out that the cancer had spread to my lungs so on the 6th nov 03 i had open chest surgery to remove secondary nodes on my lungs, unfortunitly when i woke up the surgeon told me i needed another op before xmas as there was a node he couldnt reach so he's going through my back, anyway obviously i have been off sick since jan, this has given me a lot of time to think about a career but i have not been that successful. i dont have loads of qualifications but think that something to do with cars would suit me best. i'm looking for a job with a proper salary rather than the nuts i currently get paid.
anyone got any ideas, thought of mechanic but i cant kneel since the op.
thanks in advance

Car salesman ? No qualifications needed, just the ability to sell cars. Of course not everyone has the sales "gene". I tried sales once but wasn't my thing.
