Cops N Their Cars
#1
I have seen the threads on the old bill in their unmarked Scoobs but get this.
I have seen, around scratchwood services cop shop, the following semi / unmarked police cars over the last couple o years
1: A black 02 STI with Chevrons and "Police" on the back only.
2: A Lotus Esprit V8 in yellow, with chevrons n "Police" on the back only.
3: A dark green Volvo 850R with lights behind front grille.
a dark coloured Escort Cossie (yes, only a year ago) with all the arials on the roof and lights on back parcel shelf.
And finally, horror amongst horrors
4: A Porsche 911 Turbo with you guesed it, chevrons and "police" on back only, in white.
I hear scratchwood is sometimes used as a trial base for new pursuit cars which may explain the variety but beware people, they have some hot kit out there (not to mention the the Honda Fireblades that go from scratchwood to the Midlands)

I think they are allowed to take cars from convicted "fellons", if they can proove the cars were purchased by the proceeds of crime.
These cars can then be used by them.
Dont quote me though, its never been confirmed to me, just a bit of "Sauna banter".

As a result of the success of the policy in the U.S, Police forces in this country were given the power to confiscate property proven to be purchased with the proceeds of drug deals. I did think it had to be auctioned though
