when your trying to remain friends.......that you have moved on and found some one else to sh*g???
Is this a bad thing to do if it only about 2 months since you last slept with them??

Two months is not enough, you've clearly made the school boy error of overlapping stuff. 
It'll certainly cause some problems but nothing terminal. Its also better now as you're telling her about something thats not hugely malicious. When she finds out in 6 months it'll be the same amount of 'moving on' plus a large portion of 'hiding things and being sneaky'.
