Who else just loves the police in Beds who have nothing but our safety in mind....Almost every day without fail they ensure our safety on the road and sit between the 5 cameras in the layby just after Sandy. They sit where it changes from 60 to 50 and happily take pics of almost everyont that goes by just over the limit. It makes me soo happy that they are out looking after us and stopping criminals such as my 75 yr old grandfather..good job!

W@nkers, just a term by which to describe our government, let's not blame the Police, our government tell them to do it! Targets and cash incentives make it happen. I actually feel sorry for the sad tw@ts who spend the whole day sitting in the back of a van, HATED by all. Don't vote Labour, the Conservatives reckon they will move these activities, including fixed cameras, to real blackspots and residential areas.

yeah, heading south from sandy on the A1, you hit a camera that is on a bend in a 50, about 800yds it becomes a 60.... yet the stoopid camera van nobbers sit there in a pull in before the 60 just after the camera.

Makes my blood boil.

Seriously, whenever I use that stretch of the A1, I marvel at the crass stupidity of whoever sanctioned the A1(M) section north from the A14, instead of a proper bypass for Sandy, /St Neots[img]images/smilies/mad.gif[/img]
