Sky in another room
#1
Want to know what i can buy to achieve this without having to re-tune the tv in the bedroom as I have lost the remote for it.
Bought one of those approved sky ones which runs on co-ax cable but obviously that requires tuning of the tv - is my only choice going to be a fecking long scart lead?

Just go and buy a cheap universal remote control and programme it to your television!!!
Edited to say it won't tune it though will it?
Right, I'm off.

Got a Mosiac jobby but that doesnt have tuning functions once I find the right device, what I then need are macros for that and I've been looking for yonks for a tuning macro for a Samsung tv/vcr combo!

You can manually set the RF output frequency from the Sky installation menu...
Based on that, I guess if you know the frequency that a particular channel on your TV is set to, you could tune the box to the TV (if that makes any sense whatsoever?!?!)
