Uh, I hate to point this out but my links were not links to ****. Some of the links on one of those sites does contain other links to sites which could be construed as ****, but then again, the nature of the links is quite clearly indicated and it's up to you whether you follow them.
If I'd directly linked to ****, I could see the problem, but I didn't.
Scoobynet is frequently host to threads full of extremely scantily clad ladies, so how anyone can say a link to a site that links to a site containing scantily clad ladies is so damned bad is beyond me...
I'd point out that the link above to google could, in a myriad of situations, supply a list of **** sites. Are we no longer allowed to link to google in case a child uses it to search for something they didn't ought to see?!
And since someone saw fit to remove my entire post, rather than merely the links which were apparently so disgusting () I'll repeat:

If you check, those links are to another car bbs, an IT news site and a cartoon site.And as I pointed out, to see anything you didn't want to see on the other sites I posted links to, you'd have to have followed further, clearly labelled links from those sites. If you did that, you really have nobody to blame but yourself.

So, if you saw anything you didn't want to, it was because you chose to click on a link with a clear description of what it would lead to. That's entirely your choice, so take some responsibility for your own actions and quit being such a whiner.

And for the record, shiny links is very little to do with underwear, kinky or otherwise, and informed consent is nothing whatsoever to do with underwear.
This thread asked for my 5 favourite links. It didn't specify they had to appeal to you, Chip.
But let me ask you, if you didn't want to see fetish photos, why did you follow clearly labelled links to fetish sites?

Not really, it's my mind that's open, not my legs... Besides, there are so few genuinely interesting partners about.
Also, being in an 8-year long monogamous relationship between the ages of 18 and 26 tends to cut down one's wear rate a bit. I'm only 30 now after all.

Most sites for over 18s have warnings befor eyou enter, and if a parent wants to stop there child looking at pornographic imgaes or other offensive images it is their responsability to set up filters. I am quite certain that if a under 18 was looking for offensive material he could easily find it, therefore I see no need for the link to be removed.

On a serious note, maybe the links were inappropriate as children look on here however this isn't really a site aimed at children and there has been a lot more adult orientated material on here in the past.
TK is well known for her preferences and maybe a polite word to her instead of flying off the handle would have worked better?! You should know by now that if you have a go, she'll dig her heels in twice as hard and become argumentative!! Totally off original topic I know but had to say something

Ha ha, makes me laugh this, whats in the next browser along on the toolbar lads, perhaps you are correct in saying this isnt the place for links to **** but I think there are much easier ways to access **** than the occasional ill advised link, calm down !
As for kids, my kids close Scoobynet down the minute they get near the pc, they dont ever read it, tedious stuff that dad looks at before they load up uneccesarily violent pc games.

The point here is that I did not link to ****.
I linked to a site listing latex/lingerie/shoe/fetish sites and a site listing useful BDSM links. The sites I linked to were a list of links, nothing more. Anyone following those links did so of their own volition. And anyone, child or otherwise, could have found them easily enough with Google.
I assume that in future Chip will be campaigning to rid SN of all swearing, implied swearing, nudity, scantily-clad persons, discussions about ***** size, sexual position preferences and bra sizes, in case they damage any children who may be here. I shall be watching with interest. After all, I'd hate to think of him as a hypocrite using children as an excuse to pursue his own agenda.
