lol,its a bit more complicated than aim for the Purley Way 
you have directed him through all the easy bits! 
and that Vodafone roundabout is positively violent!

From the A3 I go to Shannons Corner flyover.
Into Morden and take the right turn just before the tube station.
Right at the lights, left at the roundabout, and basically head down to the Purley Way, joining it on the 'Vodafone' roundabout.
I don't know where I go through or past, but it works for me!!!
