Where next? there has been rumours that a forth film will be made and all 4 main actors have said they'd be prepared to do it.

But how do you get round the fact that there's only morpheus left at the end?

Neo can be revived by the machines so thats ok. Smith can come back. Maybe the bloke that get's possessed is reanimated by the machines because Neo gets too powerful. The Matrix IS NEO

Trinity I have no clue about. But seeing as how the last 2 films sucked, enough is enough. Neo should have destroyed the machines. That would have been a better ending than a fecking cease fire. I mean the Matrix is still using people which I thought was the whole point of the struggle in the first place, to free them all.

I reckon Smith won't make a re-appearence, but that the main villain would be the Merovingian. Neo would be an exile - just a program and not a human.

Trinity's a tough one though...

The Matrix has wiped out the Smith program. Neo *could* come back but unlikely.
In the end the machines were too strong for the humans / Neo to defeat. Hence the ceasefire.
Now the humans that want unplugging are allowed to there is no need for 'The One' program / anomalie.
