As above, anyone know the release date of the Sony Ericson P900?.

I'm at upgrade time and rung today to get a new phone (to sell really as I love my P800). I'd heard the P900 is out next year, I asked the guy from o2 when it was out (to confirm), he said "it's out next week, on the 12th".

Anyone confirm this?. I've had this sort of thing off o2 before, and it took ages to arrive.

Out now in Orange retail shops got one today from Newcastle Eldon Square Branch. COOL TOY just upgraded from P800 (it is a lot better than the P800)

Also getting a new phone, but cant decide on the P900 and SPV E200 - anyone got any thoughts?

Prefer the looks of the SPV, but like the touch screen on the P900.

Only other problem is cost.

E200 on Orange has now been reduced to £59.99, P900 is £230 both on £25/month contract.

Is the P900 worth that much extra?

Got to be on o2..

Rang them today, didn't quote the 12th, just said "next week". Tried to reseve one.. "no chance sir", why?, "becasue we are still checking the phone" (bit late in the day to be checking it??). Every time I ring them I get some b*ll*x, surely someone must know when/if o2 are launching the poxy thing. They done this last year with the GD87 IIRC, kept me asking for a few months.

Trying to remember why I left Orange, and whether I want to go back onto it..

Look at battery life (both standby and active)?

Problem with the Expansys stuff is that the manual is in German. I would imagine that with something with this level of sophistication, a manual would be key?
