Sky pricing
#1
someone said they are putting up the prices? Ive just phoned and they are changing from £38 to £40 in January, but if you have Sky+ you will save the tenner on any package that includes 2 premium packs,so the price is actually coming down for Sky+ subscribers

That deal is already on for current subscribers. I thought it meant premium channels as in MUTV, Film Four, playboy etc but on the TV ad it says sky sports and movies so that covers a lot of people already. Might have to give it a whirl although Ive only just got normal sky installed.

its 38 quid for the whole lot, including Sky+.That extra 6 quid gets another 90 channels (all ****e,but who cares)
you might as well go for the full pack tbh

Sky's report to the London Stock exchange 3 weeks ago stated they wanted to raise the revenue per subscriber from the current average of £34 to £45 to keep profits above target.
Hello stupid punters
I subscribe to the whole package, not sky+ though.. I shall be dropping the movie channels as they are **** to drop my costs back down to sub £40 again in Jan

their packages are very clever, you might as well have the whole lot,or the tenner jobby, anythign in between isnt good value
in jan,on Sky+,you will be paying less than now,so i'm not that bothere tbh
if you have kids and you like sport its worth it imo.Eurosport has kept me entertained many a late night.RallyX Micras are worth £40 on their own

Well, compared to the BBC's co-erced punters you Sky boys are getting excellent value for money, arent you Murdoch must be happy to provide such a good value public service - and all that with his nipper newly in charge too.
I bet some even pay less for their Scooby insurance than the Sky yearly premium. Wish I was one...
Sheep anyone?

Depends on ur lifestyle i s'pose.
Im never in weekends, so Sky Sports for football is out. I hardly ever have time to watch a full movie (unless its DVD with a pause button). So Sky Movies are out.
The kids love cartoons and i watch M&M & Sky Sports News mainly.
I think they call it The Family Package, £16/month? or £18? How much is that package going up to?
