for all the IT managers out there..or any sort of manager!

what would impress you the most about presentation techniques for CV's?
i am just about to hand deliver a fully filled (Hand written application form) as well as a cover letter and CV!!

it did say that i can add a CV in support of an application!

please tell me that this is not overkill and that it will not get thrown in the bin!

thankyou

Industry standard is only 2 IIRC. Anymore than that with the application form and letter maybe be a little much IMHO of course.

I usually tailor make the CV to the actual job, cutting out all the crap that isnt relevant.

the CV has just got all the relevantbits which have a relationship to the new job..

i can shave off a little more by getting rid of the referees and training section because that is covered in the app form.
i wanted to leave it in so that it did not look tailor made for the job!

thank you
