I'm off on hols with the wife for some time in a few weeks cos I'm fed up with work
Round the world tickets already booked - and off for a couple of months
Was particularly interested in peoples comments on Cape Town and the Garden Route - over to the caves in Ooootsharn (sp?)
Australia - Sydney Surroundings
Also New Zealand - South and North Island
West Coast of USA - especially vegas and surrounding area and the route from LA to San Fran
Anyone had any excellent experiences of places/hotels (preferably cheaper ones!!) and/or must see areas......
Any comments on any of these areas greatly appreciated - especially where to stay, what to do - where to hire the car from
We like scenery and adventure - none of this Beach holiday nonsense...... rgds
