I thought the C5 WAS a group B supercar.
With the washing machine motor they used, they went like **** when the spin cycle kicked in

Only thing worth a butchers is VBH IMHO
Or, more accurately, the only thing worth a butcher's cleaver is VBH.
But we don't want to go there again, do we?!
Enjoyed the programme, VBH notwithstanding.

But if they'd done that, they'd have needed to do the 5 GT Turbo and the like too, and it would have ended up a hot-hatch fest. To do the 80s properly takes a LOT more than a half hour programme, i reckon.

It was crap. 5th gear is crap. There's only 20mins of programme and half of that is flogging the competition.
The Mk1 Golf is a 70's car, the MK2 was a 90's model as it had big bumpers (and an H Plate - 1990). The Ferrari and Porsche were also 1990 H plates. Good going for a prog on the 80's.
Utter tosh. Should have had several more groundbreaking cars than they featured. Funny how they'd all owned the only ones they showed.
PAP - UTTER PAP!

LOL! I've never sat through an episode of Corrie, but the girls' pics in the tabloids always look appealing. Isn't the programme redeemed by their presence??
