Ive just received confirmation that i have two tickets to visit the Top Gear studio when they record a show.

Just wondered if any1 has been there, done that and what is the procedure? Parking? Times? Location? etc?

Been to a couple. They're filmed on Wednesday PMs from 2:00Pm. Usually finishes aroung 7:00ish. All you get is a plastic cup of coffee and a Twix so take some water and stuff with you. There's a lot of standing about and it's bit nippy till the lights warm the studio up, so wear a fleece or something. There's plenty of parking, and some interesting cars dotted about usually.

Clarkson and Co. are all very personable, so feel free to chat to them if you want to. Hope you get an interesting guest. I got Rick Parfitt and Michael Gambon (would have preferred Jodie Kidd ).

I took the wife - she got bored a bit but didnt complain too much. was in the studio (old aircraft hanger) from 2 -7 pm. you dont get to see any track action which i was a bit dissapointed about.

i got better scoff than a twix and a brew though. we had coke/sprite & bottled water, sarnies, crisps, twixes, mars bars etc - i was quite suprised actually.

get used to doing fake laughing - you'll be doin loads of it for the repeat jokes.

all in all i enjoyed it, ive even put in for tickets for this series.
