Anyone been there?
Thinking of going there for a couple of nights. Is there much to see & do apart from the tower?

That'll be two nights longer than you need then.

Basically three buildings including the tower. Give it half a day max including walking up the tower. Florence or Rome much more interesting.

I did Pisa while I was in the Tuscany region in July for a couple of weeks, must admit apart from the tower and surrounding buildings the rest is crappy.
I'd recommend a drive down to pietrasanta, takes just over an hour to get there from Pisa, right near the beach, comes alive at night, nice shops, restaurants, and if you want nightlife head to 'forte di marni' spellcheck please anyone.

Couldn't agree more, Pisa is industrial & has nothing more to offer than the tower & cathedral. Go to Florence to make your trip worthwhile.
