Have just read your review on StreetpilotIII deluxe on a GPS website, and looked at thread from May 03.
My major concern before parting with my hard earned for this, is how fast does it usually acquire and start tracking, and how quickly can you program it. I do a lot of emergency response driving, so am often going short distances (5-10 miles) but to areas I don't know very well. It's embarassing to be parked up at side of road, blue lights flashing, while I read the A-Z. Obviously though if the system takes 3 or 4 minutes to warm up and program, then probably wont save me enough time to be useful.
Would be very grateful if you, or anyone else who uses this system, could find time to answer
Thanks
Ken
