Start of Day 3 since stopping smoking........

Seam to be coming out of the wanting to Kill everyone stage with only imtermittent bouts of wanting to throttle the wife and Kid...

Not helped by afore-mentioned Wife getting me to lay Lino in small funny shaped Toilet yesterday... Massive stress as i am about as good at carpet / lino fitting as i am at Particle physics...

Taste buds have gone haywire.

Bloody determined to see it through this time though...

Do it mate. My best advice is NEVER have 'just the one' if you are drunk/whatever. It just doesnt work.

I stopped last year for just over 5 months....

Went out for a Business do one night finished up on Cigars

Next day it was a pack of Hamlets...

Then a packet of rolling Baccy

Then 10......

Then the rest is History

Will not make the same mistake this time....

Last Monday finished me off.... £5.03 for 20 Marly Lights in Charing Cross station.... Sod that for a Lark.

Just stop and tell your mates to stop you if you try to smoke. Get ready to cough up all the krap from your lungs after a couple of months......lots of brown black stuff..that will have been there for years...

My wife gave up when she started going out with me 11 years ago and hasn't looked back. She'd smoked 20 a day for 6 years. She had a medical for scuba diving a few years after giving up and the doctor said to her "you've never smoked a cigarette in your life have you?" - the damage can be repaired if you do it in time!

I started 3 weeks again after 3 weeks of quitting. But then I remember my father's advice to me when I was a kid.

"Son, no matter what happens in life, don't you ever be a quitter.."

U can do it m8, been out on the beer yet ? jesus, that was hard for me but did it, and that was 7yrs 4mths & 25 days ago, not that im counting you understand.
