I've got a Snooper S6, it's pretty useless, unless you want to know if a shop has automatic doors.

I wish i bought a road angel now

I got a Snooper S5 & its superb for Gatso's, not so good on lasers, unless its being pointed right at you. Road angel will only tell where Gatsos are not if they are live or not, you would be amazed how many Gatso boxes are empty!

I have a Road Pilot with additional Radar horn [Gatso's, Specs. Truvellos']

I also have an LRC100 great for detecting Lazers

Price your looking at about a grand

Is that resonable ?

You tell me

Its not reasonable Phil but thats what it costs if you want the full monty. You're right about the Gatso's being mostly empty or not working noggy - still slow you down tho' don't they, so they achieve their aim anyway!!

RoadAngel+LRC100+adaptor = £700 here

I bet they'll haggle and you could get another £50-£100 off that price.

The Plod will try to get you on "Perverting the course of justice" The only problem is, to pervert justice, a crime has to have been known to have been commited. Because they never got a reading on your speed, they cannot prove the crime of speeding and therefore you cannot be proved to be perverting justice.

So there Mr Policeman.

Tut tut and this from someone who teaches people to drive (allegedly). You seem to have an opinion on everything don't you? Would it kill you to type something sensible and meaningful once in a while? Instead of advocating road safety and driving within speed limits (which you should be doing as a driving instructor), here we have you explaining how to get away with using illegal gadgets. To top it all off you are cocking a snook at our respected Police Force, the envy of the world. Why not say 'keep within the speed limit and stay safe and fine free' but no you don't do things conventionally do you? Anyhow you just carry straight on. The next time we have someone who causes mayhem through excess speed we'll all know who to blame.

Origin B2.

Had one for 6.5 years and it's alerted me to every Gatso/truvelo/Specs camera I've been passed. If you keep it updated regularly it will tell you about temporary cameras in road works too.

I removed the laser detector as it gave a few false readings (and it scares the bejesus out of you when it goes off ) and without a jammer, by the time it alerts you that a laser is on you, the copper has his reading so it's a bit late to hit the brakes!

I had a snooper... as said before, VERY good at locating the nearest supermarket with their automatic doors, or industrial estates operating the same laser door technology... funny enough they are mostly located near or next to motorways.... .... useless for anything else tbh.... so mine was switched off most of the time...

jammers hmm they any use for blocking everything..any names for best ones..(pm me) got a feeling this will end up a long winded debate..

in ireland, they dont tell us where the speed cameras/gatso/etc.,are! theres usually a sign after one with "gotya"on it either that or their hiding behind bushes anywhere and everywhere gorging on snack boxes and jaffa cakes n large fizz drinks..
