My Co. is moving me around a lot at moment.
Next stop will mean that I have a good 2 1/2 drive each way.
Doesn't this count towards the working day ? They are saying that I must do the 9.00 - 5.30 on site and the travelling in my own time

They will expect you to move closer - are they not offering a relocation incentive?

If they've moved a substantial distance away, so your commute is substantially longer than it used to be, this constitutes a major change to your terms and conditions of employment (which should specify your place of work). If you don't accept it, they'll have to make you redundant. Sounds like an opportunity to renegotiate for more money or come to a compromise on hours.

My firm did this and just rewrote all the contracts and said sign them! most people did. eventually so many people left we now pay a traveling payment each way.
