Me and Beemerboy and colleagues used to regularly consume that amount at lunch time and nope, no matter how often you do it it just doesn't get any easier in the afternoons, but then we had an employer who didn't have a clue in those days 
3 hour lunch breaks and 4 pint jugs of Carling all round Those days are long gone now though

A 4 pint session at lunchtime is ONLY acceptable if work are paying for it (time and beer!).................

Used to work in the BBC.... you didn't even need to leave the building to get to the bar
Every day was the same - Get all the work cleared up before 12.30. Beeb Club for lunch and 4 rounds. Back to office for 1.30. Sleep to 5.30. Wake up, more pints, clock out and go home

2 pints of stella are a pleasure to drink, any more than 3 and its a chore to get to the bottom of the glass. Ive been being sick when I drink stella recently, I think Im going off it, Ive started drinking girly drinks
