I Want a new Mobile Phone
#1
I currently Have an 8310e that, after a few years loyal service is ready to die. So I want to replace it...BUT
I can't seem to find a modern equivelant in terms of size and battery life. I keep getting offered picture phones, but I'm a tight git so I won't use piccy messaging. And they are larger in size.
So I just want a phone that is the same size, or smaller than a 8310, does'nt have a stupid stubby aerial and will last about 3 days on 1 charge.
So, anyone have any suggestions?

**** me the 6100 is only 13.5mm thick!
Planky: can you get to grips with the menu system and texting of the E700 (i.e is it like the A300's)+ do you know the battery life?
So far the order goes..
SL55
6100
E700
Cheers for the help, at least I have some idea so I can tell the salesman what phones I want
Anymore to add to the list?

I've got a T100 at the mo and its not the best for texting but i don't have any problems with the menu.
I should be getting a E700 this week on t-mobile.

Menu system is fine on Samsungs (I have an S300 but have used V200 and T100). However the lack of word wrapping on texts and no adding to the T9 dictionary may annoy you. Personally I think the S300 is the best phone I have owned.

I also have a S300. Yea the lack of input into the T9 dictionary is a bit of a pain but not too bad.
The screen seems to be quite good on it too compared to most I have seen (think it looks better than the SL55). If you don't want the aerial just stick a stubby one on it
Only things I don't like about it are:
No low battery warning so will just turn off when you’re talking!
The screens turn off after you haven't used it for few mins so you don't know if you have and messages or missed calls which mean you have to keep opening the thing to check.
And as already mentioned no T9 dictionary.
