Hi Steve
Why not the Road Pilot its far better looking than Snooper IMHO
I have just bought the LRC100 diffuser which switches its self off after being activated so in theory they wouldn't be able to prove you had it on

I have a Snooper S6 Neo and I wouldn't recommend them. Far, far too many false positives and just general insane behaviour from it. It's been back to be repaired/exchanged once and I've all but given up with it now.
I don't have any experience of the alternatives, but there must be something better.
Sometimes mine will indicate 1 bar of K band every 10 seconds or so for almost an entire hour long motorway trip. It drives me batty and I usually end up switching it off. It's been losing its GPS lock with increasing regularity recently too.
I'm not greatly impressed.

I agree with TurboKitty - my S6-R is so annoying I've switched off the radar detector altogether and just use it for cameras now. If you get zapped by a laser you're nicked anyway, so I don't see much point in that either. May as well have bought a Road Angel or something cheaper.

MJW, the point is that the detector does radar AND laser and thus tells you which cameras are live and will detect any cameras not yet in the GPS database. I just can't stand the constant noise though. The damned thing drives me spare.
