Seen it at the weekend, was OK special effects wise but thats about it. More of a comedy IMO.

No real story or plot eihter but perhaps that's where Vol. 2 come's in.

All his movies have been "comedies" Though the lack of plot is why its being slated. Normally he makes good plots with lots of character building but this time he doesnt.

Funny thing though is i still think its got more plot then most hollywood cr@p. Its only downfall is that the critics are comparing it to QTs other work and not against all the other sh1te out there.

Saw it on sat (hence the 'death list five' thread). Enjoyed it a lot. a comedy? yup, I'd say, there was a plot, which is... well, I'll let you see it to find out.

Yeah I suppose, when I said comedy I meant the OTT kung fu stuff. I did enjoy it in a 'switch brain off' sort of way. Just didnt get me going like pulp fiction etc did. Pulp fiction was three stories in one this is just a few sketches.

All IMHO of course

I think though maybe hes sold out...him talking about he thought of it just after Pulp, and that he wanted to wait for Uma...i think its just another in the line of the "matrix" kungfu film bandwagon. Shame though, i love QTs stuff so i'll try and ignore all the media and will just enjoy the special edition KillBill boxset

just my IMHO & i havent even seen it yet.
