Lots of punctures on the M6 north - Rugby!
#1
I joined the M6 north were it starts at the M1. I passed 5 cars and 1 lorry pulled over on the hard sholder with puctures. The were all about 1/2 mile from each other from the M1 juct to just past J1 north.
Maybe a lorry had dropped some sharp objects on the carrige way?

It was the 1st really wet day we've had in a while. The water acts as a lubricant allowing objects to penetrate into the tyre. There may have been something dropped, but more likely the stuff just built up over the last month or two and the rain provided the x-factor.
Ever heard people say, "How come whenever I get a puncture it's pishing down?"

could be but...
Last heavy rain was a couple of days ago
4 cars and 1 lorry in the space of a couple of miles on the same side of the caridgeway?
Why not the rest of the mway?
I still think there's been a spill of some sort.

Pished it down all day in S.Yorkshire yesterday ! Well, very heavy drizzly stuff combined with high wind to ensure you're soaked in minutes and stay that way.
