Vicki Watts used to have a Canadian accent until a few weeks ago but now its all gone very posh English. Did I miss something?

She did explain a few weeks ago to Dennis,something to do with 'fitting in' to her new life back Walford,but even i was shocked that her yank accent went over night

Accents can change that quickly, i remember going to a footie match with a Scouse friend, he'd moved away from there ages ago. But 90mins sat in the Toffees end and he sounded like a true scouse again.

i think they realised that her attempt at an american accent was so utterly sh*te, they just told her to forget it. she doesn't seem to be even trying to sound cockerney, either.

Well, if she's trying to fit in, you think the English accent would be a bit forced - but when she started shouting she still carried on with the English accent - you'd have thought she'd have slipped back into American when she lost her rag.

A mate lived for years in Blackpool - and his accent changes depending on where he is. If he's here in Cumbria he has our accent, but when we go for nights out in Blackpool it switches back to a Lancashire accent - he doesnt seem to be able to control it.
