Question

dunno what's happened but over the last few years i seem to have become more and more lazy. stopped going to the gym and stuff like that, now i just seem to leave everything until the possible moment and generally put things off as much as possible. right now, i am supposed to be doing an assignment for a course i am doing. it was due in last wednesday and so far i have written a grand total of 290 words. all i want to do is vegetate. is there any cure for this? perhaps i should set the firewall to deny access to scoobynet.

I've considered the latter...

I also think it's something to do with physical exercise. I do zero now, and I'm sure that the brain suffers as a result. I can't concentrate as much as I used to.

(Awaiting maelstrom of comments...)

i have noticed that i feel a bit more motivated if i do some exercise, but back problems put me off. i do occasionally go swimming but find it very dull.

402 words now, btw.

I feel exactly the same ProperCharlie.

I've also wondered if I didn't sit here in front of the pc most nights, I'd get a lot more done after work.

Hell, even AT work, nobody seems to give a toss any more.
The amount of skiving that goes on is criminal.
Everone seems to be of the attitude, what the boss don't know, don't hurt.
I feel a bit of a geek (if that's the right word) in a way, of wanting to actually do the hours I'm supposed to!
and I hate the job !! get that!

Back in the summer I wanted to go mountain biking, so asked a few freinds. They went out and bought new bikes and all the gear, all was looking merry, every weekend without fail we trotted off to the Forest of Dean, until that heat wave we had... then nobody wanted to go again.

I feel all fired up to do something, but everyone around is so ******* lacklustre these days, really gets on my **** !

just had a look, its called 100 ways to motivate yourself.
and it says side A on it, so maybe its just 50 ways to motivate yourself.
Unless it was from a 4 tape set, i which case it will be 25 ways....

anyway i digress, i've had a quick listen to some of it last night, and although some of it may seem obvious, theres some great stuff on there.
like reading stuff aloud to remember it better!!!!
(and look like a **** on the train, i guess)

anyway if you want a bash, drop me a mail.

The best way to motivate yourself is to make a few changes to your life.
