Try taking the phone apart and putting it in the airing cupboard for a day or so.
I am with orange at the moment and broke my phone about a year ago, I had no insurance at the time but they replaced it for a cost of either £50 one of, Or £30 and I have to pay £5 a month for insurance from then on. Luckily I took the second optiona as I broke it again a month later :-s

Paul you spanner, thats funny lol
You won't have insurance, unless you took the option out when you signed the contract / or you have taken the insurance option out after.....
Probably looks like you'll have to get another one from Ebay to me if it doesnt work after you've dried it out....

If you're on contract, you've been a customer for a few years and your bills average that much just give em a call and they'll probably replace it (phone your service provider direct, not through a shop). They'll probably say you'll have to insure your new handset from now on tho....
Alternatively let your existing phone dry out thoroughly and you've got a 50/50 chance it will work. Don't take it apart any more than removing the covers and battery otherwise you risk damaging the ICs with static.

Wait up, I jumped in the pool with my trusty 3410 in my pocket, two days later it started working and has been ever since, and its seen off a NEC 808 crappy 3g thing.
