why dont boxer dogs have tails ? I've got one and it just looks bloody stupid without one. I feel I should make her one out of a old reel of wool.

if you wanted one with a tail the anti-docking alliance would've no doubt put you in contact with a breeder who does not dock,or you could've asked the breeder not to dock one pup for you.

But have to say they are docked for a reason and most docked dogs it is not because some one decided they looked better without tails its for the dogs own good they feel nothing if docked correctly but lots if docked later in life.

I personally like my dogs stumpy's great to grab hold off it dog tries to run off oh and less cups are knocked off the table

ok i here u but the other day i saw one with a tail and it looked like something a spider monkey would sport on its *** . It was all long and curly. Jesus I feel like ive been short changed and she lacks the mental ability at the age of two years of age to know that having a slash on the wood effect lino in the kitchen just isnt funny anymore even if the pool of **** does represent the shape of our fair English isle.

at two she should be housetrainned has she been spayed by any chance.
boxers with tails look silly ...and tend to hurt themselves.
guess the fact they need longer to mature doesnt help and at two she is still young my weim is now three and a half and its the pup thats made her seem mature

BTW do u ever grab your boxer pooch by there sloppy chops and stroke its peanut shaped head I do with ours.

just thought if she had been spayed it could account for messing in doors as spaying can cause girls to have bladder control problems

the best thing about my pooch is her ability to have a drink and spill more water from her sloppy chops than the amount shes tryed to flick in her gob with her tongue. And her hyperactive stump is slightly funny sometimes. Oh yeah and the fact some mornings ill walk into the kitchen and she'll huff and refuse to move out of bed. But thats her female streak I think.
