2 hour max parking bays

If there are 2 lay bys with a 2 hour max wait / no return within 4 hours can I park in each bay for 2 hours without the 4 hour wait. Both are separate lay bys?

I think if they are in the same stretch of road then no, as the restrictions apply to the road not the bays, best thing to do is ask the traffic warden, at least you'll get the answer (might not be the one you want though), oh and don't let him know which car is yours !.

Restriction will apply only to the bays - not the whole road, but it depends on the wording of the Traffic Regulation Order - i.e. if they've done each lay-by separatly or both together in one stretch...so no easy answer! (unless you happen to have access to the relevant Traffic Regulation Order 
)
