Empire Direct get my vote too, always keenly priced and I've never had a problem.

All the best

I've had a DVD player and an AV amp from Techtronics. Sales service is fine, AV amp arrived 2 days after order, DVD was delayed as there was a supply problem with it being a popular model, but they kept me informed and it finally arrived 3 weeks before the last promised date. On the downside, they double hit my credit card and it was a bit troublesome getting it sorted. Their aftersales service is very poor and it is very hard to get hold of anyone in the technical dept. Prices are good though.

Visited local Currys tonight (not just to laugh at the prices!) and picture quality on the Toshiba compared to a few others was not so good. Its possible that it they had not set it up etc. but it put me off a little.

Is the picture OK, and are you using standard analog signal or digital?

Very pleased with it mate.

Picture quality for a tubed television is incredible. Sound for an internal amp and factory speakers is very good too.

If it looked pants in the store they can't have had it set up properly. With a weak signal the 100hz does show it up.

Sorry missed the bit about digital and analouge.

We watch it through both.

Sky Digital is obviously much better but analouge is okay.

DVD's are flipping awesome
