The engine will run v. v hot under extreme conditions unless you cut a hole in the front window, perhaps you have and its just not visable. I always cut the side window out as well so you can start the motor without taking the shell off (on pull starts anyway) and cut a small holes in the roof for glowpug access and fuel access. This is for racing competatively though although I doubt you will be racing that particular car competatively.

I dont know too much about the smaller nitro cars although I do occasionaly race 1/10th its mainly 1/8 scale I use now.

Thanks for the advice m8. I have drilled holes in the rear and front drivers side for cooling. Was trying to avoid the front to allow for the asthetics. Will keep a close eye on the temp. Already drilled in the roof for the glow before I realised what is was for thought it was the aerial !!. Not going to fuel and start with the shell on yet. Need a lotta practice for that and if I do I understand there are better shells for racing. May try that with the viper shell.

Dave.
