Seen seconds on Ebay for £130 but dont really need 11 knives. Anyone know anywhere else that does them at a decent price?

mate - thats not a bad price from ebay - global knives are not cheap - u can buy them from john lewis as a set - cant remember how much i paid for my knife bloock + 6 knifes but it was aroun 100 mark but woth every penny - best knives i used and they are bloody sharp - thinking of getting a cheese knife but 35 pounds i s a tad expensive, im still chewing hard on buying it along with a global knife block to sharpen it (another 40 poounds)
or better yet claim it back from company when u move to reading!

The 11 knife set appears to be going for nearer £200 now. Most of them arent the knives I would choose from the range but for that money you cant complain. They are seconds (i.e. not 100% in globals opinion) but all buyers have been happy and the seller offers to replace or refund any knife you arent happy with.
Amazon do sell the entire range individually.

Just checked on Amazon. If you bought the knives on Ebay individually then it would cost you just over £500 including the case. OUCH!

No I cant be sure. Neither could I if I bought them from a shop.
As I said they are sold as seconds i.e. they may have a slight flaw that means they dont get sold as the genuine item. Everyone who has bought a set (over 20 people) has said they are fine.
I am willing to give it a go especially as I can pay via my credit card. If they are crap then they go back.
Just gotta get a good bid in as the last lots have gone nearer £200 and Ive seen them go for as little as £130.
