We have a Index 100 phone system and I have been asked if there is any way of tracing a number that called a particular extension. Don't know if this was an external call or from another internal extension; assuming it was an external as no one said they called this extension.
It's nothing dodgy, just the manager is waiting for a call and wants to know if he's missed it or not.
We have some reporting software (Advance) but that only seems to report on outgoing calls from extensions.

LOL, didn't think so.
All I can tell from the logs is that the extension received an incoming call on a particular line and at a specific time.
No worries, I tell them to install a newer PBX
