Ibiza - need CULTURAL tips.
#1
Off there next week to do some filming... Unf have generally avoided gaining any knowledge of the place in the past as I wrongly thought it was all downmarket Brit scum from all those TV alchumentarys! (copyright )
I need some scenic spots for quality backgrounds for me presenters. Can anyone recommend somewhere I shouldnt miss - somewhere high with a cracking sunset etc etc?
Cheers - sorry no fee this time

Any chance you can get over to Menorca ? Get the ferry, internal flight ?
If so, Cova d'en Xoroi is a bar (daytime)/ club (nighttime) that is built into the side of the cliffs. By far the best location for a bar I've ever seen. Would make a great film location at sunset. Reckon it would also make a great villans hide out for the next Bond film
Sunset over the sea while the waves crash below you while you sit and drink something long and cold with chilled ambient tunes playing over their substantial sound system. Pure bliss.
Ibiza ? Nah, nothing much I would say is cultural there apart from parts of the old town and places you just come across while out and about. Mind you I only spent six days there.
Cheers

The sunset sen from Cafe mambo is fantastic on the right day.... it has been film many times before and you will have quite a few people there. You can however move round the coast slightly where it should be quiet.
This was a piture I took with my phone...hence the poor quality

All good stuff guys - thanks. Helps me familiarise with place names and associate them too.
Memorca could be next time - if this looks good. That cave bar looks fab though!
