considering a holiday to orlando, florida next year... probably going either early spring or early autumn to avoid the crowds.

has anyone been recently, or going soon.. and if you don't mind me asking.. what would be the cheapest way for two adults (apparently one of us acts like a child tho!) to have a couple of weeks (give or take a few days) out there? and approximately how much?

im thinking call a cheap hotel there and book the room, and get the flights seperately? or do package deals work out cheaper?

also, does anyone know of any bodybuilding supplement stores in orlando?

thanks!

We go every November and use a Villa in Kissimee which is only 10 minutes drive from Disney (and every other theme park for that matter)

With the Villa, large family car and flights with Delta into Orlando via Cincinnatti the three of us gp for just under £1400.

Food is very cheap, lobster and steak dinner with an eat as much as you like buffet £7.00 and the Ponderosa for eat as much as you like breakfast for about £4.00 you can live very well onnot a lot of money.

If you have SKy it is worth looking at some of the deals they do on there. We have just booked via one of the channels to do 3 nights in New York, 7 nights in San Fransisco and 7 nights in Florida for £620 each with our daughter going for £99 even though she is 12.

If you shop around there are some very good deals to be done.

Go to the holidays section and click on the map.

If you can afford it; i'd go for a small villa and a "fly drive".
If not, loads of cheap packages.
Kissimme is ok, cheaper, only 20 mins ish to the stuff.
Bit quiet in the evenings tho

Dont get hassled into a type of car u dont want.
One trick is to ask u what u drive in uk blah blah.
Say a mini. U dont need fast cars out there.. not much in the way of twisties, and every 200 yards a set of traffic lights.

I've been 4 times and never paid more than £500 for 2 of us including hotels and transfers. Check out the deals on teletext etc. The hotels are cheap over there, but you can never be sure if there are conventions on or anything.

There is a guy on here that has a condo in Florida and a weeks accommodation (sleeps up to 8 I think) is £400!

In true SN fashion I advise you to do a search
