A cure for walkers b*ll*cks
#1
Just spent a few days walking the Pembrokeshire coastal path. Would recommend to anyone who thinks the UK has nothing to offer.
Limped into my hostelry suffering from what all male hikers occasionally suffer from, my host took one look at me and said 'one squirt of anti-perspirant will sort those right out'.
Not being totally trustworthy of the guy I lay very still on my hired bed for half an hour before giving in & letting leash with my can of Old Spice (no accounting for taste OK).
I screamed enough obscenities to ban me from the country for life, and extracted myself from the ceiling fingernail-by-fingernail, but 2 minutes later I had to admit the old Welsh b*st*rd seemed to know what he was talking about.
Just thought I oughta share, in case Moyra Bremner (OK obscure link for someone to figure out) is online on Scoobynet tonight!

key is not to wear cotton undies, boxers; anything that'll make your b*ll*cks sweat too much will be very uncomfortable after hours of walking.
A pair of proper base layer pants (ones that wick away moisture) and you'll not see that problem again. A good handful of foo-foo (talcum powder) will see your delicates staying dry too.

Gordo,
I think you should keep what you get up to in your sparetime to yourself m8
I hope I never bump into you out in the Scottish hills. Meeting someone in a place like Rannoch Moor whose got a tub of vaseline in his hands is the stuff of nightmares
Hope you don't use the same tub for your chapped lips
