I find parkers to be totally unreliable, the prices it quotes compared to glasses guide are stupidly high!
As for searching auto trader etc, this will only give you a rough guide to what people are asking for cars. Just because they ask, it doesn't mean they get!
You can advertise at whatever price you like but if it's rediculous you won't get a call.
In the real world unless they are dirt cheap they don't get sold.

Afternoon, struggling to get an accurate value on my motor, are any of the on-line valuations eg Glass's representative or are average values in Autotrader a better guide?

Dunno how accurate that is as it isnt glasses guide, try a search for parkers, or www.ixm.co.uk or www.autotrader.co.uk failing that look for cars similar as yours that are for sale and guesstimate

from what it says on that citroen website, i would guess that i shouldn't be looking for more than about 16.5k for the STi.
Sheesh...
Oh well, can't say I haven't enjoyed myself for my 10k.
Might even persuade myself to keep it

Bloody 'ell, according to that parkers site I should only loose a couple of grand on the mini, as opposed to *ten grand* on the scoob, which is nearly a year newer. yeazoos; is there no justice in this world?
